Mobipôle Nandrin

Public - NANDRIN

A micro-architecture serving the community

Minimalist, discreet and refined, the new concept designed by the PLAN9 team takes the form of a micro-architecture known as the Mobipôle.

Designed to support the development of active mobility, it responds to the community’s changing needs. Functional and easily identifiable, it creates a connection between different modes of transport while integrating discreetly into the public realm.

The Mobipôle, architecture dedicated to active mobility

Together with GAL Pays des Condruses, PLAN 9 is contributing to the development of active mobility in the Condroz and Hesbaye regions. Located along shared mobility routes, the Mobipôle provides secure shelter for bicycles and other two-wheelers. The project therefore offers a practical response to today’s mobility challenges.

Its clean architectural design gives it a strong and instantly recognisable identity. Made from timber and metal, this micro-architecture focuses on simplicity of form and materials. The timber cladding plays a central role in the project’s expression. Worked through its depth, it reveals the name of each municipality within the façade itself, becoming a distinctive architectural feature of the Mobipôle concept.

Like PLAN9’s other architectural projects, the Mobipôle combines functionality, architectural identity and integration into its surroundings.
